To mark the event we’re going to paint the town Red… White & Blue(well with flags and balloons anyway).
We’re encouraging everyone attending (be it on a bike or on foot) to help us mark the occasion by displaying Union Flags (or St George, St Andrew or Welsh Dragon flags if you prefer) and wearing something to fit the theme.
For our younger visitors how about dressing up as a Princess (or a Prince)?
Those of you that have attended previous years will know that we kick off the festival with a mass Ride-in.
Bikers World will once again be hosting the start point for us.
If you’d like to take part in the Ride-In, you will need to register (free).

Had a great day chatting about bikes and even though the rain was a pain will be there next year well done to all
Great show, in spite of the weather. My highlights were the Indian, 2015 model, big twin in full dress, at around £52 a Kilo on the road, dry weight in full dress around 400 Kilos… And the pristine examples of Triumph T21 350 cc, Tiger cub, and scrambler, the little BSA Bantam was better than they came out of the factory.
Guys, sorry today was a bit damp for you. I’d just like to say thanks for all your efforts and I look forward to next year, hopefully with more favourable weather. Still there’s always a silver lining. I get to strip the bike again for next years modifications.
Great turnout today from bikers and supporters despite the weather. Another successful day. Well done to everyone who made the event happen and to both the Town and the District Council for giving some grant funding.
Councillor Wendy Randall
